Get your calendars ready, National Night Out 2017 is August 5! National Night Out is an opportunity for the community and law enforcement to come together to form a powerful partnership in the fight for a safer, crime- and drug-free community!
Safe Streets serves as coordinator for National Night Out for Topeka/Shawnee County. In our community, individual neighborhoods are encouraged to host events. In 2016, 76 neighborhoods and more than 9,500 participated. The goal for 2017 is 80 neighborhoods and 12,000 participating. The planning meeting dates for 2017 include March 14, May 9, June 13 and July 6. at 6:30 p.m. at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas. Won't you join the excitement and register your neighborhood. You may register your neighborhood at any time.
