Safe Streets is a program of Prevention and Recovery Services located in Topeka, Kansas. Safe Streets was founded in the fall of 1995 with the mission of creating a healthier community by addressing substance abuse and crime through prevention education and citizen empowerment. The vision of Safe Streets is “Peace in the Neighborhood.”
This vision is continuously pursued through several ongoing efforts. From setting up neighborhood watch groups, supporting youth involvement in the community, encouraging community mobilization, and forming the Safe Streets Coalition to address crime and safety concerns, Safe Streets work in the community is ever-changing.
Reality Tour is October 18 - Reserve Your Spots Today!
Join us on October 18 for the 2nd Reality Tour! This program is perfect for kids ages 10 and up and the parents/caregivers. This important event walks kids through the consequences of drug and alcohol use. This is free and open to the public, but reservations are needed. It will be held at Antioch Family Life Center on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. Please call 266.8666 to reserve your time slot today!
